When washing your face try using warm water or even cool water, you may find it invigorating. You should also try to avoid harsh or chemical-heavy soaps, they tend to strip moisture from your skin. After bathing remember to keep your skin moisturized by applying lotion as soon as possible, preferably within the first few minutes. If dry skin is an issue, use an oil-based lotion on the problem area several times a day.
